Being a dentist, perfection is always a benchmark or a reference to what other doctors want or what patients want to achieve. It seems like a cool idea but it isn’t healthy to mirror the “perfection” of someone else or put that vision on a pedestal. Why Shouldn’t We Chase Perfection? … because “Perfection” is exhausting. However, Confidence is empowering. It is tiring trying to keep up with others. Grass maybe greener on the other side but it is definitely greener where you water it. Cultivate your yard( your life). That is where confidence grows and flourishes.

Being a dentist , I get to talk with alot of people about their current health and past care. A common posture I feel is one of shame. That can get in the way of your health and increase. Shame can be an obstacle that blocks care and calling. How do we restore confidence with the presence of shame?

Confidence Starts Where Shame Ends. Shame says, “Who do you think you are?” Confidence replies, “Someone with worth and worth the work.” We don’t have to drag shame into our future—it wasn’t and isn’t invited.Confidence isn’t arrogance. It’s healing + honesty+ humility, wrapped in grace. Shed your Shame or reframe it and remind yourself you are worth it and worthy.
