Say Hello to Dr. Lauren O. Carney!

Inspired by her father, orthodontist Pat Ohlenforst, Dr. Carney's career path took shape early on. She witnessed firsthand his genuine enjoyment of his work and the lasting relationships he built with patients. She shares, "We are lucky individuals who get to help people achieve a healthier, more esthetic smile while also getting to know people and families across generations. Not many people in the healthcare field get to see healthy people on a regular basis like we do!"

Dr. Carney became board certified in 2012. Reflecting on that achievement, she says, "I wanted my patients and their families to understand my commitment to excellence. Academically, it demonstrates my dedication to continuous learning. Philosophically, being board certified shows my patients and their families that I am committed to providing the best possible care."

At Ohlenforst Carney Orthodontics in Dallas, Texas, Dr. Carney's approach is rooted in compassion, flexibility, and individualized care. "I really try to treat my patients as I would my own family – both personally and clinically. It’s important to me to treat every patient with compassion and see each of them as a whole person, not just a treatment plan."

Dr. Carney completed her orthodontic residency at Baylor College of Dentistry.
