Treatment is still underway, but this Superhealth™ smile update deserves a swipe! ➡️

This young patient started with a pronounced overjet—their upper front teeth extended well beyond their lower front teeth. Look at the improvement so far!

Their family also shared concerns about mouth breathing during the day and while sleeping, dark circles under their eyes, daytime tiredness or irritability, and frequently feeling unwell.

Your care continues at home—and your recovery instructions matter.

Knowing what to avoid after oral surgery is an important part of caring for yourself as you heal. Dr. Sawnani shares a few reminders to keep in mind alongside the post-operative instructions provided by your dental team:

🦷 Avoid straws and smoking
🦷 Take a break from strenuous activity
🦷 Avoid alcohol
🦷 Follow your provider’s instructions for when, how gently, and how often to rinse

Your recovery instructions are specific to your procedure. Follow your dental provider’s recommendations about how long these precautions should continue.
