Dr. Michael Witcher attended the Georgia Institute of Technology where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, and a Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry. He then attended Emory University where he received a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1982. Dr. Witcher has served on the faculty of the Emory University School of Dentistry and the University of Florida School of Dentistry where he instructed pre-doctoral dental students in Oral Diagnosis and Oral Medicine. Dr. Witcher attained the Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2004 and earned his Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2008. This designation requires a minimum of 1100 hours of post doctoral education in all of the specialties of dentistry and the successful completion of a comprehensive examination over all phases of dentistry.
