The office of 𝗗𝗿. 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗘. 𝗗𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗩 – Periodontology & Implantology is proud to congratulate Jillian Gregory (JILL !!), our second and final recipient of the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 $𝟭,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽.⁣

Jillian plans to pursue a career in 𝗻𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴, with a special interest in pediatrics. Her passion for healthcare was shaped by a deeply personal experience—watching her mother suffer a heart attack, calling 911, staying by her side, and later helping care for her throughout her recovery.⁣
⁣
Through that experience, Jillian came to understand that healthcare is about far more than treating an illness. It is also about providing comfort, hope, compassion, and strength to patients and the families standing beside them.⁣
⁣
Her desire to work with children was another part of her story that resonated with us. Jillian hopes to become the kind of pediatric nurse who can make a frightened child feel safe, seen, and cared for—and perhaps even help them forget, for a moment, that they are in a hospital.⁣

She wrote of the nurses who cared for her mother:⁣

We are proud to be back for our 14th consecutive year supporting Houston Children’s Charity and The Rod Ryan Show for their incredible Back2School program—helping provide school supplies, oral health education, and brighter smiles for children across the Houston area.

Since 2005, the Houston Children’s Charity Back2School Program has helped pave the road to success for underserved children throughout the Greater Houston area. What began in a single school district has grown to serve multiple independent school districts and charter schools across five counties, providing essential school supplies to more than 50,000 children.

We firmly believe that an investment in our children is an investment in our future. Every child deserves to walk into the classroom on the first day of school with confidence, a backpack on their shoulders, and the tools they need to learn and succeed.

We are honored to continue partnering with Houston Children’s Charity and The Rod Ryan Show in making a positive impact—one backpack, one smile, and one child at a time.
