Most cavities don't start with pain. That's what makes them dangerous.

Cavities grow silently inside and in-between your teeth over time and you may feel nothing for awhile. However, even without pain, you may gradually experience issues that indicate decay such as sensitivity, bad breath, food getting stuck and dark spots. Don't 👏 ignore 👏 these 👏 signs 👏. The biggest myth in dentistry & therefore the biggest mistake people make is that "if it doesn't hurt, it's fine" --> FALSE!!! By the time you start experiencing pain, the cavity has already spread to the deeper layers of the tooth closer to the nerves and will usually involve needing more extensive treatment such as a root canal, crown or even extraction and costly restorations. Good oral hygiene, dental check-ups and X-RAYS - yes, regular x-rays - are the best way to detect a cavity and stop it before it becomes a real problem. TRUST US. 🦷

Thanks to your generosity, Pretzel raised a grand total of $517! 🥰 Dr. Donnelly & Pretzel dropped off a check over the weekend to the Humane Society.
