About the Doctors:
Dr. Vacharee Fell has practiced in Culver City for more than 20 years. She specializes in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics for children and adults. She completed her postdoctoral training in Orthodontics at Northwestern University in Chicago, where she received her Master of Science degree and Certification in Orthodontics from its School of Dentistry. In 1989, she achie

ved board certification as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO). Board certification is the culmination of a 5-10 year process of written and oral examination and an independent review of treated patients. This distinction is held by approximately 25% of practicing orthodontists. While maintaining a full-time private practice, she holds an academic appointment at the UCLA School of Dentistry, Orthodontics Department. In addition to teaching in the clinic part time, she helped to develop and now teaches the course for the UCLA orthodontics residents to prepare them for ABO Certification. She is a highly qualified orthodontist having received her bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis, her dental degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and her certification in orthodontics and masters in oral biology from UCLA. In her 3-year orthodontic residency at UCLA, Dr. Borenstein was trained in removable and fixed orthodontics for children and adults. She has experience in all types of cases including surgical cases, two-phase cases involving growth modification, and treatment of patients with craniofacial anomalies. She also has worked with many types of treatment mechanics such as traditional edge-wise brackets, self-ligating brackets, mini-implants, removable appliances and Invisalign. Dr. Borenstein did her master's research on the Damon System, which is the major treatment modality used by Dr. Fell.

Christina is officially off to dental school! 🦷✨

After the past year and a half as a dental intern at Culver City Orthodontics, she is heading to the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry to pursue her DDS degree, and we could not be more proud of her.

From assisting in clinic to connecting with patients and constantly pushing herself to learn more, Christina brought positivity, kindness, and hard work to our office every single day. She quickly became such a special part of the CCO family.

Watching her grow over the past year and a half has been such a privilege, and we cannot wait to see the incredible dentist she becomes. UOP is lucky to have you, Christina 🤍
