With over 20 years of experience and a background owning three successful practices, Dr. Moghadam specializes in aesthetic dentistry. She is dedicated to creating elegant, natural-looking smiles through personalized, detail-driven care.

I am personally delighted to welcome Dr. Moghadam to our team.

Her compassion and commitment to high-quality care make her an exceptional addition, and I am confident that you will enjoy working with her.

As I begin a new chapter and embark on my retirement, I will be reducing my clinical hours. It was important to me to find a successor who shares my philosophy and passion for patient care.

A deep cleaning (scaling and root planing) is a treatment that removes heavy buildup and bacteria from below the gums to help stop gum disease. We start by reviewing your X-rays and checking your gum pockets so we know exactly where treatment is needed.

To keep you comfortable, we numb the gums so the cleaning feels more like pressure than pain. During scaling, we remove plaque and tartar from deep under the gumline. Then, with root planing, we smooth the tooth roots so the gums can heal and reattach.

After your visit, mild tenderness or sensitivity is normal for a day or two. Warm salt-water rinses, gentle brushing, and soft foods usually help. We’ll see you again in 4–6 weeks to check your healing.

Most PPO dental insurances cover a percentage of deep cleanings, and we accept all PPO plans. We’re happy to check your benefits before your appointment.

Sometimes the hardest part of dentistry isn’t the treatment itself — it’s seeing how long-ignored dental issues can completely change someone’s life.

This patient came to us with decay so extensive that saving the teeth was no longer an option. Years of untreated cavities had slowly progressed to the point of no return. And this is far more common than many people realize.
