Family Health Partnership Clinic Since 1996, FHPC has provided quality healthcare to the uninsured adults in McHenry County.

OUR VISION: Over the next ten years, the Family Health Partnership Clinic will assure that the residents of the McHenry County area will enjoy the benefit of full access to high quality health care, regardless of the ability to pay, by offering multiple sites throughout our community to adequately meet those needs. The Clinic operates on a sliding fee scale, although no patient is turned away due to inability to pay. At registration, patients will be asked to provide some proof of income.

Today we celebrate freedom and honor the resilience of Black Americans — and we reflect on what true freedom requires. It requires access. To opportunity, to community, to healthcare.
At FHPC, our mission — that everyone deserves healthcare — is rooted in that same belief. Health equity isn't a side note to justice. It's part of it. We're proud to do this work, and today reminds us why it matters so deeply.

The Perfect Cheer was one of our favorite Pedalpalooza moments — and you all did NOT disappoint. Participants gathered at the hospitality tent in Algonquin and brought the noise, the spirit, and honestly? Some seriously impressive cheer game. 🎉🚴 We put together a little montage of the magic. We are so excited to welcome Aislyn to the FHPC family this summer! 🌟

Aislyn is a McHenry County native and dual-enrolled junior studying psychology at both Northern Illinois University and McHenry County College, with her sights set on a future in psychiatry. She joins us through the Developing Tomorrow's Nonprofit Leaders program — and we couldn't be more glad she chose FHPC as her home base this summer.
Aislyn is passionate about serving populations that are too often overlooked, and she's eager to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting where that work happens every single day. When she's not here making a difference, you can find her reading, writing, or getting her steps in — a woman after our own hearts. 🏃‍♀️📚

🌈✨ FHPC in the Wild — Wild Wednesday! ✨🌈
This past Sunday, downtown Crystal Lake was filled with joy, music, and all the colors of the rainbow 🏳️‍🌈 — and right in the middle of it all? Two of our very own.
Jay Highland, our Clinical Director and proud Board Member of Crystal Lake Pride, took the stage as Emcee for the annual Crystal Lake Pride event. And keeping everyone safe and cared for throughout the day was clinic nurse Jenna Highland, running the first aid station with the same steady, compassionate hands she brings to our patients every day.
A joyful community gathering. A supportive crowd. And two FHPC team members showing up — not because they had to, but because that's just who they are.
That's the FHPC way. 💛
We are so proud of Jay and Jenna for everything they give to this community, inside our clinic walls and beyond them. Thank you for reminding us that healthcare isn't just about treating illness — it's about showing up for the whole person, and the whole community!
