In a world that leaves you guessing about so much…

Here’s some clarity on the Do’s & Don’t for excellent oral health!

➡️Do!

🦷Prioritize Consistency…brush & floss 2x a day, everyday around the same time.

🦷Floss BEFORE you brush!...your tooth brush is more effective when debris is removed from
in between your teeth first.

🦷Soft only! Whether you choose a manual or electric toothbrush…it should also be soft.

🦷 Don’t forget your tongue! Removing the build up of bacteria on your tongue is a step that is frequently missed.

🦷Schedule regular professional cleanings! Spot trouble areas before they become a big deal.

➡️Don’t!

❌Don’t brush right after eating. Wait at least 30 minutes…otherwise you are actually scrubbing acids and debris from food deeper into enamel instead of removing it.

❌Teeth are not tools! Resist the urge to open things with them or hold things between your
teeth.

❌Pay attention to changes! Discoloration, sore spots, bumps, or lumps…if they stay longer than 2 weeks, have them checked out.

❌Don’t delay your routine visits! We know life happens and most don’t love the dentist, but
putting it off long will only make it harder to achieve a healthy smile!

Your smile isn’t defined by your family’s dental history.

One of the biggest misconceptions,

…is that because your parents or grandparents had dentures or struggled with cavities, you are destined too as well.

It’s just not true.

The real problem that moves through generations is less about genetics and more about habits.

You have the power to protect your own smile through,

✅Consistent brushing
✅Daily flossing
✅Nutrient dense diet
✅Regular dental visits.

If you’re ready to change your story and take control of your oral health, give us a call today!

Did you know your mouth is the front door to your body's overall health? 🫀

It’s easy to think of teeth and gums as a separate system

The reality is much more connected.

Science continues to show us that oral health isn't just about a bright smile, it’s a window into what’s happening in the rest of your body.

When inflammation or bacteria accumulate in the mouth (like with gum disease), it doesn't just stay there.

It enters the bloodstream and travels to other parts of the body, potentially impacting your heart health, respiratory system, and ability to fight other infections.

This is information to empower you, not scare you!

When you take the time to prioritize your oral hygiene, you aren’t just flossing.

You are actively supporting your body’s systemic health.

It’s one of the most proactive, daily wellness choices you can make.

Missing a tooth?

It’s more than just a gap in your smile.

It can impact how you eat, speak, and even how your other teeth stay positioned.

And not just that…one tooth missing often turns into several missing over time, leaving you unable to chew food and digest it properly…

Which then affects the rest of your body.

The good news?

There are options to replace missing teeth 👇

Here is the simple breakdown of the three most common ways.

🦷 Dental Implants: The most predictable, long term option. It mimics your natural tooth structure by replacing the root and the crown. It’s nonremovable and feels the most like your natural tooth. Plus, it doesn’t require the support of other teeth around it.

🌉 Dental Bridges: Think of this as a "bridge" over the gap. We crown the teeth on either side of the empty space to hold a new, artificial tooth in the middle. It can be a great nonremovable solution if the surrounding teeth are healthy enough to support it.

🧩 Partials: This is the option you would take in and out. If you are missing multiple teeth, a partial denture is a removable appliance that fits into place around your existing healthy teeth. It can be an economical way to restore function while you explore more permanent options.

Which path is right for you?

Let’s plan a time to talk about it!

Don't let a missing tooth keep you from your favorite foods or feeling fully confident when you smile.
