It’s Dental Hygienists Week! Did you know both our hygienists are FROM Crosby?🤩 Meet Cassidy, one of our amazing hygienists, with a few Get To Know You questions:
• How long have you been a dental hygienist? 7 eventful years!
• What do you love about being a hygienist? It’s the kind of job that you get to challenge your critical thinking skills, educate, get (short term) instant gratification, and build relationships all within an hour. What’s not to love? ❤️
• Who or what influenced you to become a hygienist? Why? Going to my general dentist and later to my orthodontist was just something I always looked forward to and that’s what I wanted from a career. Now it turns out the hygienist I went to for about 20 years graduated with and is friends with Angie, so it was meant to be!
• What do you enjoy doing while you’re not at work? Any hobbies? We have four kids that are finally getting to the age that I can actually have hobbies again! I love to cook and bake (and preferably not clean the kitchen but that never seems to work out🤔), garden, read, and I’ve started getting into resin work which is really fun, but not so great with kids running around...one day though! ☺️

• What do you love about being a hygienist? I love the relationships I have built with my patients, so many are like family ❤️
• Who or what influenced you to become a hygienist? Why? I personally had a very rough hygienist one time and I knew I wanted to do better for people!
• What do you enjoy doing while you’re not at work? Any hobbies? I enjoy traveling, playing a round of golf, eating at new places, and just hanging out by the pool ☀️
