Last Saturday, we gathered to say our final goodbyes to my mentor and 'American father,' Dr. Dale Evans. It was a day filled with tears, but also with so much love. ποΈ In the six years I worked beside him, I always felt he truly cared about my success and patients' well-being. But during the service, listening to your stories, I realized I wasn't the only oneβeveryone felt that same personal care from him. π€ I am so humbled by those who knew him longer than I did. To our patients of several decades, and to our team members Cherie and Becky, who worked with him for over 30 years, I felt I should have been the one comforting you, yet you have been the ones comforting me. Dr. Evans always told me this practice was about relationships, not just dentistry. Seeing our community come together proved him right. I am more committed than ever to carrying forward the 'patient-first' legacy he spent his life building. We miss you, Dr. Evans. Rest in Peace. Thank you for everything. β¨
