However, for patients in the Covina and West Covina areas (and even in the wider Los Angeles area), Dr. Cohen successfully treats dental phobic patients with the use of nitrous oxide, sedation dentistry or hypnosis – all of which helps to relax the patient and alleviate patient fears. His wife, Jo Beth, is a Registered Nurse and was a Director of Patient Care Services at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Dr. Cohen and his family reside in San Marino where they are actively involved in many community organizations and activities. In his leisure time, Dr. Cohen enjoys his family, reading, competitive bicycling and sailboat racing.
