Idk if this appropriate things to ask for but figured it can't hurt to ask since p] is a NEED.. as everyone knows gages jaw is wired shut and will be a few more wks which limits him to drinks and soft foods he loves them ensures and it's really good for him but their also expensive after a couple wks they run $6 each he does 5 to 6 a day plus yogurt applesauce pudding etc so anyone that wants to help by dropping some off or sending some yesterday you guys would be greatly appreciated...

He's home and still recovering another 3 to 4 wks b4 we can check his jaw being wired ...taking good donations now this ...

Please do not feel obligated anyway but if you can't afford it to help out with if you dollars here and there I'm going to post my cash app To help with who to drink hygiene stuff snack stuff like that the $1.80 sounds and the cheap as it sounds when you don't have that $1.80 it really sucks .1 The 1st few days the hospital helped They are not no more not really sure why but they're not so it's thick on us to pay cash for everything Between the food prices and the gas prices I'm just slowly sinking So even if a couple of bucks don't sound like a Latin and I help with you it definitely will help me if you can't please do not and please keep all prayers coming our boy isn't normal completely yet but so much better than he WAS . SO PROUD OF HIM!!!!

As much as I don't want to do this Times are getting a little harder up here happen to make less trips home because of gas and food is definitely git is definitely getting scarce in the cafeteria is getting expensive so so if anybody can help out with any of it please let me know or even like I said gas cards Gift cards for like McDonald's or something anything like that works I don't know if any of you use cash app or if you're comfortable with that But I can send you my cash app and prove that helps to thank you

Update. Gages doing a 100% better he is moved to a different floor now out of icu. He's a little crazy and hes very up...

Update. Gages doing a 100% better he is moved to a different floor now out of icu. He's a little crazy and hes very upset by some of the things the accident cost physically but we will get through it he is now in a regular room where he can actually have visitors so anybody that would like to come up please do hes definitely upset that nobody has been up here I try to explain to him that people can't come to a department only immediately but he knows now he can have any visitors and as many as he wants so so either bring your butts up here and show some love and give him the attention he needs right now to get through this Send a balloon send a flower since candy something that has your name on it so what do you think about him I still want to thank everybody for your prayers it's still a very long road ahead of us they said a 6 week minimum for his jaw He has been trying to talk with they said hes gonna have to learn to do that hes still on still on a feeding tube so he'll have to do the feeding still but hes progressing every day and what faster than they even expected now you're just gonna get to the mental park because that's what's gon to slow down when it actually sinks in I will continue to keep you updated if you have any questions let me know if you think you're going to make it or you need his random number to send something let me know too Thank you

Ok update he's doing better making improvements still sedated but that's to be expected cause of how much they had to do during surgery.. he was running a slight fever yesterday evening but nothing to stress. He's only had 2 episodes today which is good that's only because they come in to check their routine Checks he's still in ALOT of pain and they have to check his pupils their not dilating the same just yet but the Dr's say that's normal with a brain injury...I'll post again before bed happy 4th everyone please be safe out there today ...

In 2 or 3 days they they will start to wake him up see how he responds see if he can stay calm enough he has his jaw wired shut for 6 weeks min.. he still has to have more surgeries they said he will have to learn how to eat again to how to talk again everything it's going to be a long road and it's going to be very rough for him with his short attention span.. so all I ask is that everybody that's going to be around be very very patient I'm telling myself aswell He's wiped me in the head at least 4 or 5 time times today with them little hand glove pillows he is mad at me because I can't take the restraints off So that he can rip everything out & run I just have to keep reminding myself that he don't remember what happened he doesn't understand why hes Here he can't see cause his eyes are swelled shut he probably can't hear real well because of the surgery yesterday and he can't talk cause hes got a trake in so I guess yeah that's a lot to wake up too and especially not remember anything thing hes very confused and upset so anybody that would like to come up all I ask is that you kind of give me a heads up and they're only letting in 2 people at a time and they don't give you a time limit so if you want to spend 5 minutes or you want to spend 5 hours that's fine just kind of give me a heads up so that I know So far there's been about 4 people that came up to see him I should say 4 different Couples that came up to see .. I don't really recommend coming today but I know once he starts waking up he will definitely we'll definitely enjoy knowing that people do care and want to see them so I want to see him so feel free to come and visit him start in about 2 days cause hes gonna be here a while I know he'd like to see everybody I'll keep everyone posted as soon as I know stuff as of right now everything is OK blood pressure keeps going up-and-down but they say it's from the pain he spiked a little bit of a fever this morning they said that's from the surgery and we're not sure on the next surgery when it is they just set a minimum of 6 weeks to heal from this one and that's if everything goes right had to put a lot of extra hardware in his faces they said so they're watching it pretty closely to make sure he doesn't hit it on anything or that he doesn't get loose and take off Lol only gage

So update surgery was yesterday the 2nd one for facial reconstruction direction he was supposed to be in there for about for 3 to 4 hours and end up being in there for 6. no complications just a little more work than thought they had to take the breathing to route and put a Trake in for breathing now instead of the tube in his mouth I don't like it but it's better for him for several reasons several reasons 1st that because yes I have multiple surgeries they said that it's a lot easier and safer when they're doing multiple surgeries in the future 2nd is they had to wire his jaw shut for 6 weeks next week's from all the damage done to his face it doesn't look bad on the outside but it's not good on the inside this is what the doctors are saying they're saying in order to do what they need to do yesterday they had to do an incision From one ear to the other over the top of his head looks pretty nasty at this point but they reassure us that it will heal very clean and nicely I think the stables is what makes it look bad I don't like it but it's better for him for several reasons several reasons 1st that because yes I have multiple surgeries they said that it's a lot easier and safer when they're doing multiple surgeries in the future 2nd is they had to wire his jaw shut for 6 weeks next week's from all the damage done to his face it doesn't look bad on the outside but it's not good on the inside this is what the doctors are saying they're saying in order to do what they need to do yesterday they had to do an incision From one ear to the other over the top of his head it looks pretty nasty at this point but they reassure us that it will heal very clean and nicely.. I think the staples is what makes it look bad.. And I guess better to be on his head where his hair will cover it up than on his face there is no incision's done on his face no scarring on his face a little bit under his nose they had to do a little incision there but you won't even see it you can barely see it now they're still having to keep them heavily sedated cause hes still trying to pull everything out hes still very confused on what's going on what happened and now he just woke up to his jaw wired shut so now hes even more upset they're going to keep him like that for a few days just because of all The pain hes in.
