To all of our incredible patients: You should have received a letter from us this week with our big announcement: We’re retiring.
As we close this chapter, another one opens with Natalie and Alex Behling, who will be transitioning Blair Family Dental to Wisconsin Family Dental. Please read a note from Dr. Don Blair:
Dear Patient,
I have always known that the day would come when I had to pass the practice on to someone else. After 39 years, that day has arrived. Friends became patients, and patients became friends. Dawn and I are blessed to have had the opportunity to share that aspect of our lives with you.
I have always attempted to maintain an ideology of “thoroughness with compassion.” In choosing a successor, I wanted to find someone whom I am confident will be able to make you feel cared for in a similar manner. With that said, I would like to introduce you to Dr. Natalie Behling.
Dr. Behling was born and raised in Rockford, IL. After finishing her undergraduate studies at Augustana College she relocated to the East Coast where she obtained both a MS degree from Georgetown University, and a DDS degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Ultimately, Dr. Behling’s love for her family and the Midwest brought her to Wisconsin where she has made a home with her husband, Alex, and rescue dog, Theo. Upon returning to the midwest, Dr. Behling began practicing in Lodi and as fate would have it, she crossed our path as we were looking to transition into the next phase of our lives. Dr. Behling loves the ability to help patients from all walks of life and is eager to continue building on the life-long relationships we have established. Another one of her passions is providing dental care to underserved communities. Throughout her studies, Dr. Behling was blessed with the opportunity to travel to Cambodia, Jamaica, and remote areas across the state of Virginia offering dental services to those in need. This is something Dr. Behling hopes to continue in addition to her new responsibility as owner of Wisconsin Family Dental (formerly Blair Family Dental). In her free time, Dr. Behling enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, spending time on the water, and most importantly exploring new areas. Dr. Behling, Alex, and Theo are beyond excited for their new adventure with all of you and we look forward to you welcoming them as the newest addition to our community!
I apologize to those patients who were seen recently and not informed. It is out of mutual respect for one another’s current situation that Dr. Behling and I found it necessary to keep our plans private until the appropriate time. This alone is a testament to her character. Your trust in us throughout the years has been appreciated and we thank you for that. I am confident that the first time you meet her, you will see why Dr. Behling is my choice to provide your future dental needs.
The Behling Family would like to host you all for a meet and greet/retirement event at the office on May 13 from 5 - 7pm. Hors d’oeuvres, and light refreshments will be offered. We hope to see you there as we celebrate the transition between my last day and Dr. Behling’s first.
