SEARCHING FOR THE GOLDEN BOTTLE πΌπΌ PART ONE
My name is Obinna, and I am the third son in our family. We are a family of seven, consisting of two girls and five boys.
My parents' names are Mr. and Mrs. Ngosi. My father holds the title of BAALE in our village because he is the wealthiest man.
My father loves us dearly and ensures we receive a good education.
A few years after my mother passed away, my father remarried according to our customs.
Unfortunately, our stepmother treated us very badly, leading most of my siblings to leave home. However, my brother Eze and I decided to stay with our father.
Despite being married to my father for two years, our stepmother had not yet given birth to any children.
My father consulted the Oracle, which predicted that she would give birth to a set of twinsβa pair of bouncing baby boys.
We were all overjoyed and celebrated the news.
One day, while watching the news on TV with Eze, we were shocked to see a report about three armed robbers who were caught and killed during a police operation. To our horror, the pictures displayed were of our brothers. Eze and I wept bitterly and informed our father.
Our father was devastated, and that night, none of us could sleep. People from our village came to console us, but despite their efforts, we couldn't forget about our brothers.
Five months later, our stepmother fell ill, and my father rushed her to the hospital. They returned home late at night.
When they returned, I asked my father about my stepmother's condition. He informed me that she was pregnant, which filled me with excitement. My father said it called for celebration.
A few months later, my stepmother gave birth to a set of twinsβtwo boys. On the eighth day, an elaborate naming ceremony took place in our village. The first child was named Emaka, and the second child was named Chike.
Tragically, Chike died on the second day of their naming ceremony, leaving everyone in sorrow.
With Emaka's arrival, my father became
