There’s something different about getting involved in the community outside of your day-to-day routine. As a proud sponsor of the Freedom Festival’s golf outing, we’re grateful to support an effort that helps make events like this possible year after year. Last week, our team helped prepare food for the Freedom Festival in Cedar Rapids, supporting an event that brings people together and gives back in a big way. We’re proud to support events that give back and bring people together, especially in areas where so many of our patients call home.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. Aaron and Dr. Rubel of Coral West Dental joined the VFW in placing flags to pay tribute to those fallen heroes, and we’re grateful for the chance to share this moment of remembrance.
Dr. Rubel himself is a 12‑year military veteran, so this is a meaningful day for him personally. He has also lost family members who served, which makes Memorial Day not just a tradition, but a deeply felt time of reflection for his family and ours.
We also want to honor the family members of our employees who are loved, missed, and never forgotten. While we were unable to include Aaron’s full scholarship essay in the slideshow, his words reminded us how important it is to keep telling the younger generation the history of the past.
May we remember, reflect, and continue passing these stories on.
