You clench your teeth when you're stressed. Over time, that habit can literally crack them.

Clenching and grinding are easy to miss: most people don't even know they do it. It often happens at night or during a tense workday, and the pressure adds up quietly.

Your teeth are strong, but they're built for chewing, not for hours of hard, sustained force. Over time that pressure can wear down enamel, create tiny fractures, and eventually lead to a cracked tooth.
