Congratulations to our own Grace House and Jacob Hollinger, who have both been accepted to the University of Tennessee Health Science Center School of Dentistry!

Grace will be graduating from Hendrix College as a health science major and Jacob will be graduating from the Schedler’s Honors College at UCA where he is a biology major. They have both been valuable members of the surgical team at Collins Oral and Facial Surgery and we wish them much success as they pursue their post graduate education and dental careers!

A little peek from behind the scenes this morning as our surgical team preps a patient for corrective jaw surgery, also known as orthognathic surgery.

Our patient has been in orthodontics the past couple of years, getting ready for today’s surgery, which will reposition his misaligned jaws. This surgery not only improves facial appearance, but also ensures that teeth meet correctly and function properly.

We hit the trifecta today when we removed wisdom teeth for these siblings. (That’s twelve teeth between the three of them, in case you’re counting.) They were great patients and we are thankful to them and to their parents for trusting us with their care!
