Why did I become an Aesthetician? Well, it wasnā€™t until my grandma became really sick, she couldnā€™t apply her make up or take care of herself like she always did. My grandma had beautiful skin an

d always made sure her makeup was on for her guest šŸ˜‚As a little girl I would always watch her in the magnifying mirror in the kitchen with her tweezers in her hand! (I donā€™t know if this was a good thing or bad lmao) but she started me young ... fast forward it saddened me to see that she was no longer able to care for herself the way all women do. My pop was her rock, and he was always helping her ... he could only do so much ...I wanted my grandma to feel beautiful and so I started to cleanse her skin and apply her brows (need the brows) and pluck whatever crazy hair there was lol it brought me such joy to see her relax and smile and to just make her feel how every woman no matter what age or condition should feel! She was the mother I never had ... i wanted to take care of her like she has for me ā€¦and with a little push from my little sister, I realized then I wanted to be an aesthetician! Iā€™ve had a love for esthetics for so long and didnā€™t realize it until then ... I am so thankful to have those memories with my grandma. Not only am I here to help & have you looking and feeling your best, but I want you to truly understand your skin. As well as my New York State license, I have multiple certifications & will continue to educate and perfect my skills as the industry is always evolving! Laser hair removal WORKS but Iā€™m always going to be real with you about what that actually means. šŸ¤

Itā€™s long-term hair reduction, not a promise that youā€™ll never see another hair again.

Hormones change. Pregnancy can change your body. Different stages of life can trigger new hair growth, and some people will need maintenance sessions down the road.

But does that mean laser isnā€™t worth it? Absolutely not.

I personally do laser on myself and it has made my life SO much easier. Less shaving, finer and thinner regrowth, fewer ingrown hairs and much easier maintenance.

My goal is never to sell you an unrealistic promise. Itā€™s to educate you on what youā€™re investing in and give you realistic expectations and real results.

Laser works. Bodies change. Both things can be true.

What can make them look more noticeable? Oil, congestion, sun damage, loss of elasticity, and improper skincare.

The goal isnā€™t to ā€œcloseā€ your pores. Itā€™s to keep them clean, supported, and healthy with the right skincare + consistent treatments. šŸ¤

PROGRESS, NOT PERFECTION šŸ¤

This is why I always remind my acne clients that clearing the skin is a process.

Weā€™ve made such a difference in the amount of active inflammation and overall redness, but weā€™re not finished yet.

With acne, I donā€™t believe in throwing everything at the skin at once. We treat what the skin needs in each phase while protecting the barrier and staying consistent.

Our next steps: continue keeping active breakouts under control while beginning to focus more on the lingering post-acne marks, redness and overall skin tone.

You wouldnā€™t paint over a dirty wall and expect a flawless finishā€¦ so why would you microneedle skin that hasnā€™t been properly prepped?

Getting microneedling once a year, or even doing a series, without a good foundation can be a waste of your time and money. You may see results temporarily, but if you want to truly get the most out of your treatments, what you do between appointments matters just as much.

That means proper at home skincare that is right for YOUR skin, not whatā€™s trending or what works for someone else. It means regular deep cleaning facials, consistency, and a proper consultation before jumping into advanced treatments.

Microneedling is an amazing treatment, but it isnā€™t a replacement for taking care of your skin.

Build the foundation first. Then invest in the advanced treatments. šŸ¤
