Why did I become an Aesthetician? Well, it wasn’t until my grandma became really sick, she couldn’t apply her make up or take care of herself like she always did. My grandma had beautiful skin an

d always made sure her makeup was on for her guest 😂As a little girl I would always watch her in the magnifying mirror in the kitchen with her tweezers in her hand! (I don’t know if this was a good thing or bad lmao) but she started me young ... fast forward it saddened me to see that she was no longer able to care for herself the way all women do. My pop was her rock, and he was always helping her ... he could only do so much ...I wanted my grandma to feel beautiful and so I started to cleanse her skin and apply her brows (need the brows) and pluck whatever crazy hair there was lol it brought me such joy to see her relax and smile and to just make her feel how every woman no matter what age or condition should feel! She was the mother I never had ... i wanted to take care of her like she has for me …and with a little push from my little sister, I realized then I wanted to be an aesthetician! I’ve had a love for esthetics for so long and didn’t realize it until then ... I am so thankful to have those memories with my grandma. Not only am I here to help & have you looking and feeling your best, but I want you to truly understand your skin. As well as my New York State license, I have multiple certifications & will continue to educate and perfect my skills as the industry is always evolving! Acne can happen at any age. YES I SAID IT!

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is that breakouts only happen to teenagers or that acne means your skin is “dirty.” The truth is that many different factors can contribute to breakouts, including hormones, pregnancy, stress, alcohol consumption, dietary changes, whey protein, excess sugar, certain supplements, makeup products, and even not changing your pillowcase regularly.

Sometimes when you start eating healthier, working out more, or making lifestyle changes, your skin can go through an adjustment period as your body responds to those changes.

This is why a customized treatment plan is so important. What triggers acne for one person may not be the trigger for someone else.

There is no one-size-fits-all solution to clear skin. Consistency, patience, professional treatments, and the right home care routine are what create long-term results.

Professional dermaplaning uses medical grade tools, proper technique, sanitation, and customized prep for your skin type. We are removing dead skin buildup and peach fuzz safely while helping products pe*****te better and makeup apply smoother.

Your hair will not grow back thicker after professional dermaplaning. That is a myth.

At home shaving tools can cause irritation, micro cuts, spreading of bacteria, over exfoliation, and damage to the skin barrier when used incorrectly or too often.

There is a difference between skincare maintenance and professional skin treatments. 🤍
