We are a full service dental office providing care for both adults and children. Does tongue scraping actually matter?

Yes, it can actually help. Your tongue traps bacteria, food particles, and buildup that brushing alone doesn't always fully remove.

If you want to try it, a plastic tongue scraper once a day is all you need. We'd steer clear of metal ones, since they're easier to press too hard with and can cause irritation.

Don't have a scraper? No problem. A regular toothbrush works just fine too.

Signs you might need a root canal. 🦷
