During this strange and difficult season, I have had time to reflect on what a blessing each and every person I come in contact with on a daily basis means and what a privilege our practice has in serving you. I met Dr. Harrington, while it seems like yesterday, over 14 years ago. I knew immediately that I wanted to call Midlands Dental my home!
Our patients are family-always have been, always will be. While we miss seeing each of you, understand that we are remaining closed due to Covid-19 at the recommendation of the SC Dental Board for the next two weeks. We are treating dental emergencies only at this time. If you have a dental emergency and need to contact us, our number is provided on our answering machine at the office (803-772-5628).
We will continue to update our page, and contact any patients with appointments over the next several weeks to let you know our plans as we get updates from the governor, state board, and the American Dental Association.
This is a trying time for us all, but I know that we will emerge from this stronger and more appreciative of the day to day events we had once considered mundane. I look forward to seeing you and our Midlands Dental Team as soon as it is safe to do so. Until then, enjoy time you have with your family and take the opportunity to pray that God would lead our country as we press on to the future.

WE ARE TAKING EVERY PRECAUTION NECESSARY TO LIMIT THE EXPOSURE OF ANY VIRUS WITHIN OUR OFFICE.

First and foremost, the current outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) has been discussed at length with the Midlands Dental team. We want to make it clear that our Midlands Dental patients’ well being is our number one concern and that our use of universal standard precautions keeps everyone safe.

Rest assured, we at Midlands Dental review our Standard Precautions guidelines and make sure that they are being followed at all times. These precautions are a routine part of our practice and are in compliance with CDC guidelines.

While we know that our oral health practices are safe for our patients and team, we know that the ongoing news about COVID-19 can make some of our patients nervous and apprehensive about visiting our office. We are also aware that there is a great deal of conflicting or even misinformation being spread, so we will do our best to be proactive in offering accurate and up-to-date information in order to help reassure the Midlands Dental family that our infection control and universal standard precautions are an excellent deterrent to the virus.

Please remember that the most efficient way to prevent the COVID-19 is by being diligent with hand washing with warm water and soap.

By staying proactive, informed, and calm, we will be able to provide our patients and staff with the fantastic dental care we have always provided.
