Today marks the 30 year work anniversary of Tina Hale and Dr Thomas Major!!!! Not a day goes by that we aren’t grateful for Tina. Her smiling face brings joy to all of us each day!!! Her compassion and dedication to our patients is unmatched. She is the backbone of our practice!!!! We love you, Tina!

We are excited to announce Marie Powell as our new team member! Marie will serve as our Practice Administrator. Marie is a pleasure to work with and she brightens our day! Please call her for any of your dental needs!

It is with mixed feelings that I announce the retirement of Kim Davies. Sad for our team but happy for Kim. She will be returning home to work in her husband's business. Kim has been the "face" of our practice for 17 years. Her commitment to our patients has been unconditional. As our practice manager, she has worn many hats. Kim's work ethic has been inspirational. As a team, we have laughed a lot, cried a lot, fussed a lot, and stressed a lot. Most importantly we have experienced the ups and downs of life...a lot. Not to mention putting up with me for all these years! I am blessed to have an exceptional staff. We will miss Kim but are excited for the next chapter in her life. Kim's last day will be August 31st. COVID-19 prevents us from having a traditional "drop in" for our patients and friends to say so long. Please feel free to call, email, message, etc., Kim with your well wishes.

Welcome back! We miss our family of patients and look forward to seeing all of you. We hope you are safe and in good health. The past few months have been difficult and all of us are looking forward to our normal routines. Our staff has been busy with additional team training in order to make your visit both safe and comfortable. Our office continues to follow infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA) The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up to date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.

The following changes have been made to help protect our patients and staff:
**Our office will communicate with you before your scheduled appointment to ask a few screening questions. You will be asked these same questions when you are in the office.
** When arriving for your scheduled appointment please stay in your vehicle and call
803-798-0344 and let us know that you have arrived.
**We ask that any additional family members and friends who are not scheduled for an appointment remain in your vehicle. A parent of a minor child or a designated primary care giver are welcomed.
**When entering the building a staff member will take your temperature. You may then proceed to the restroom to wash your hands.
** Appointments will be scheduled to allow for social distancing between patients and to decrease the number of patients in the office at one time. This allows for extra time between patients for proper infection control procedures.

We look forward to seeing you again. Our staff is happy to answer any questions you may have about the measures we take to keep you, our staff and any patient safe in our practice.

First and foremost, Tina, Kim, Beth, Morgan and I miss all of you (our family of patients). To protect the health of our patients, staff and community we continue to follow the recommendations of the American Dental Association and the Centers for Disease Control. As such, our office remains closed with the exception of emergency treatment. A date to re-open and resume normal office hours has not been determined. Kim or Morgan will contact those affected by this office closure to reschedule. Your health is important to us. We continue to monitor phone messages, email and FaceBook.

Emergencies- If you are a patient of record and have a dental emergency we will take care of you. Please contact us for and emergency appointment.

Business Office Questions- Calls will be returned in a timely manner when staff is in the office.

Please stay safe, protect yourself and those around you. We appreciate you and look forward to continuing to serve your dental health needs.
