Strength, Survival, and a Renewed Smile🦷✨

Oral cancer treatment had taken a toll on a patients teeth which left extensive decay, fractures, and missing teeth. This was a complex case that required careful planning. We placed a combination of ceramic crowns and bridges to improve the appearance and function of the teeth. The patient was thrilled with the outcome!😄

A great reminder: it’s never too late to turn things around with the right treatment plan and mindset. 🦷✨

We began treatment on a patient by addressing gum infection with targeted periodontal therapy to restore a healthier foundation. Once the gums showed improvement, we removed the decay and placed special cavity-resistant fillings to protect the teeth. These fillings are designed to last for years, providing function and stability until the patient is ready for cosmetic treatment in the future! The patient also committed to key behavior changes — improving diet, quitting smoking, and maintaining regular oral hygiene. These changes have had a powerful impact on their oral health.😁
