We are currently looking for a new dental chairside assistant to join our clinical team! Experience in dental assisting and Dentrix software are preferred but are not required. We will train the right candidate! We are looking for someone who loves to create an excellent experience, thrives in a busy environment, and has a heart for helping others just as much as we do. We are a well-established dental office where we have the pleasure of treating the dental needs of children who reside in Colorado Springs and the many surrounding areas. We are a very close team of about 30 people and have two office locations.

The ideal candidate must have the ability to work as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and self-motivation are a must! If you have these skills combined with a strong work ethic, we welcome you to apply!

Some of the responsibilities of our dental assistants include the following:

Maintaining a positive and uplifting attitude, helping patients feel comfortable
Preforming routine dental appointment procedures such as prophylaxis and radiographs
Area set-up and break down/ cleaning for hygiene appointments and in operatories
Patient and parent communication and detailed education
Accurately document pertinent information in patient notes as well as relay information to doctors and other necessary staff
Sterilization of instruments
Effective navigation of office software (Dentrix) to include, but not limited to charting, treatment planning, and posting charges
Reviewing necessary documentation and forms with parents, including treatment consents
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Assisting in dental treatment operatories, sedations, and general anesthesia appointments
This list can evolve and change to meet the demands of the practice as needed

Our South office is now on a 2hr delay. If you have an appointment scheduled with us between 8:00am-9:30am you will be notified your appointment has been cancelled via text.

We’ll be available to reschedule your appointments starting at 10:00am and keep you updated with any further changes! Thank you for your understanding and stay warm!

On Thursday, March 10th, our South location and our Canon City location has a delayed start, due to Inclement Weather. Both of these locations will open at 10 am. If your child has an appointment impacted by this delay, we will be contacting you to reschedule your child's appointment. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you very much!

On Thursday, February 3, 2022, our South Office and our Canon City Office has a delayed start and will not open until 10 am. If your child has an appointment scheduled at one of these locations before 10 am, we will be contacting you to reschedule their appointment. Our North Office will be open at 8 am. Thank you very much!
