Meet Karen! Her birthday is April 8th and she helps us hold down the fort at the front desk. Karen was born in California, but ended up back in Colorado after some exciting places like Germany since her family was military. She loves the mountains and the fact that we have four seasons. No matter the weather, she might be jamming out to American Pie in the car. She loves to do artsy things and if she could, she’d be Glenda the Good Witch so she could float around helping and nurturing people. She loves seeing people start to love their smile. Karen makes us smile, too. Happy super belated birthday Karen!

Dr. McNickle’s birthday was April 6th! He grew up in Oklahoma, but spent nearly every summer in Colorado. He loves the mountains and all the related activities, but especially mountain biking and fishing. He also loves that his job allows him to help people. If he could be a superhero he’d be Batman because of all the cool gadgets. (Maybe that’s another reason he enjoys being a dentist- the gadgets around the office are pretty cool too!)

Meet Madison! She is one of our fantastic hygienists and today is her birthday! Born and raised in St. Louis, MO, she is here with her fiancé who is stationed at Ft. Carson. She loves the mountains and loves to hike, cook, and watch trashy reality tv. If she could have a superpower, she would choose invisibility! She can jam out to anything, but especially Follow Me by Uncle Kracker. Madison believes positive energy is contagious and enjoys helping anxious patients have a great experience and leave happy!

Meet Charlie! Dr. Charles Sabadell is an associate doctor at Cheyenne Cañon Dental. He is from St. Louis, MO and he attended Loyola University in New Orleans. After undergrad, Dr. Sabadell went to Dental School at the University of Tennessee. He came to Colorado Springs via the Army and was the director of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Ft. Carson. Now, even though he has retired from the military, he still has a passion for helping people and has continued to practice dentistry as a civilian. He loves the mountains and enjoys hiking and skiing and listening to classic rock. Charlie is married to his beautiful wife Marla and they have three children, Rachel, Nick and Nathan.

Macee is our stellar office manager and today is her birthday! She was born in AZ, moved to CA and followed family to CO in 1995. She loves all of the Colorado mountain activities, especially snowboarding, dirt biking, camping and boating! She also loves to go to concerts and travel. She is energized by her family and love to belt out live songs in the car. Macee would love to be Aquawoman for a day to be able to swim with all the creatures of the sea because she is really a mermaid! Happy birthday to Macee! (Pic is from today doing what she loves!)

Lori is one of our fab dental assistants. She is from Portland, Oregon, but she loves the Colorado weather and enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking, fishing and tennis. When she’s not outside she is into crafting and repurposing. She can jam to any song and wishes she could be in Bewitched for a day and just twinkle her nose to make things happen! We know she makes the magic happen around the office already. Happy belated birthday to Lori!!!

Meet Desiree!! Desiree is one of our stupendous dental assistants and she is a Colorado native. She enjoys the 4 seasons, lack of big bugs, the mountains, camping and hiking. She jams out to Don’t Stop Believing by Journey and works out with Caroline Girvin. If Desiree could be a super hero for a day she would be Black Widow. A mortal woman who kicks butt? We think this is Desiree every day. Happy belated birthday Desiree!

Meet Cindy! Cindy is one of our front desk rockstars who keep the place running smoothly! Born in New Mexico, she moved to Colorado in 1972 and says now it feels like home! She loves everything about it and she loves being around her family. Cindy loves to jam out to anything on the radio and she is energized by her kids and grandkids. Cindy’s birthday is Dec. 11, so if you’re in the office this week, wish Cindy a happy birthday!

Meet Kelli! Kelli is one of our front desk rockstars. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky but moved to Colorado when she was 8. She loves EVERYTHING about Colorado! Kelli is super creative and enjoys singing, decorating, photography and wellness. If she could be a superhero for a day, Kelli would be a unicorn or Wonder Woman….we’re pretty sure she is already both! She loves jamming out to Lizzo, Dua Lipa, Bruno Mars or anything 80s. Happy belated birthday Kelli!!

Recently, Cheyenne Cañon Dental took the whole staff to Top Golf for a family fun day! We enjoyed beautiful weather, yummy food, and lots of laughs!
