AJ came to us with:
☝️ A gap between his front two teeth (diastema) due in part to a thick maxillary frenum and flared upper incisors
✌🏻 A traumatic deep bite

We used Phase I braces at Age 10 for just 10 months and Phase II braces at age 14 for 18 months to:
🙏🏻 Close the space between his front teeth and upright the upper incisors
🙌🏻 And we were able to correct the dee bite, taking the lower incisors out of contact with AJ's palate, protecting him from future trauma

☝️ A gap between her front two teeth (diastema) due in part to a thick maxillary frenum and crowding of the lower incisors
✌🏻 An anterior crossbite that had led to traumatic gum recession of the lower central incisor

We used braces for just 19 months to:
🙏🏻 Close the space between her front teeth and alleviate the crowding on the lower
🙌🏻 And we were able to correct the crossbite, bring the lower incisor back into the dental arch, and protect that tooth from further gum recession

Happy Cinco De Mayo! 🪅🌵🌮

You guys know this, but SCO is guilty of having fun every chance we get. 🙋🏻‍♀️💃🙋🏼‍♂️🕺

So, after a morning of reviewing our notes from our recent AAO Chicago adventure AND tightening up systems in prep for a big summer, we had a Fiesta lunch, followed by a Baby Shower for Hannah, followed by a mandatory Siesta. (Yes, we took a team nap and it was exactly what we needed ☺️)

Wealso made sure that these cute trays of festive desserts, courtesy of , made their way around to our superstar referring dental offices for a fabulously Fiestaful day. 🤓

Reed came to us with:
☝️ A narrow upper jaw and impacted canines
✌🏻 Moderate spacing and a deep bite

We used braces and an expander to:
🙏🏻 Widen the upper jaw and create space for the impacted canines
🙌🏻 Level the deep bite so the teeth will avoid wear and function correctly as he ages
