Dental emergencies don't give you a heads-up. They usually happen at the most inconvenient times (like a weekend getaway or right before a big event)!
While you can't always prevent an accident, you can be prepared. Save this post for later and put together a mini Emergency Dental Kit using these 6 essentials:
📱 Our Phone Number: Keep it saved in your contacts (and written in the kit just in case!).
◻️ Handkerchief or clean cloth: To clean a wound or gently hold a knocked-out tooth.
💊 Ibuprofen: Great for managing inflammation and pain. Pro-tip: Avoid aspirin for dental emergencies, as it can thin your blood and increase bleeding!
🩹 Gauze: Perfect for applying gentle pressure to stop any bleeding.
🫙 Small container with a lid: If a tooth knocks out, you need a safe place to keep it moist (in milk or saliva) while you rush to see us.
💧 Bottled water: For gently rinsing out your mouth or cleaning debris.
Pack these in a small pouch and keep them in your car or medicine cabinet. Hopefully, you'll never need it, but you'll be incredibly glad you have it if you do! 🙌
