When you have a pokey wire or maybe even a bracket that’s a little uncomfortable braces wax can save you in a bind, until we can see you of course!

Short answer… Yes!

Your dentist may recommend your child to see an orthodontist if they are worried about crowding or something that may prompt the need for early orthodontic intervention.

The best thing you can do?

Once your child starts losing baby teeth, and their adult teeth are coming in, schedule an appointment and get x-rays to have a better idea of the needs of their smile.

This will tell you whether or not they need orthodontic treatment now, or if you have some time before any intervention is needed.
