Want a straighter smile without making braces the center of attention? Invisalign could be a great fit. 😁

Invisalign uses a series of custom clear aligners to gradually move your teeth into better alignment. They’re removable, discreet, and designed to fit into your everyday routine, so you can still eat the foods you love and brush and floss normally.

If you’ve been thinking about straightening your smile, come talk to us about whether Invisalign is right for you.

Ever feel like your mouth suddenly turned into the Sahara? 🏜️ Dry mouth happens when you’re not producing enough saliva, and there are plenty of possible reasons why.

Dehydration is an obvious one, but dry mouth can also be caused by certain medications, mouth breathing, stress, to***co use, and some medical conditions. And it’s more than just uncomfortable. Saliva helps neutralize acids, wash away food particles, and protect your teeth, so chronic dry mouth can increase your risk for cavities and other oral health problems.

Start by drinking plenty of water, chewing sugar-free gum to stimulate saliva, limiting alcohol and caffeine, and avoiding to***co. 💧 A humidifier at night can also help if mouth breathing is part of the problem.

If that dry feeling just won’t go away, bring it up at your next visit. We can help identify what may be contributing to it and recommend ways to keep your mouth more comfortable and your smile protected.

A dental office should feel like a place the whole family can call home!

For us, that means making sure our youngest patients have a positive, comfortable experience from the very beginning.

Our pediatric care is about more than checking little teeth. We help kids learn good brushing and flossing habits, monitor their growing smiles, prevent cavities, and make dental visits feel familiar instead of intimidating.

And because we care for patients of all ages, parents can take care of their own smiles right alongside their kids. 🦷 From those early childhood visits to adulthood and beyond, we’re proud to be a dental home your family can grow with.

Smile big! 😁

Photoshoot day was a blast... and it wouldn't be a proper dental practice photo shoot if we didn't include some teeth as well! 😉😂

Gum disease can start quietly, which is exactly why staying ahead of it matters. 🦷 It begins when plaque and bacteria build up around the gumline, causing inflammation known as gingivitis. Without treatment, it can progress to periodontitis and begin affecting the tissues and bone that support your teeth.

Watch for signs like bleeding while brushing or flossing, swollen or tender gums, persistent bad breath, gum recession, or loose teeth. The earlier we catch these changes, the better.

The good news is there’s plenty you can do to protect your gums: Brush twice a day, clean between your teeth daily, avoid to***co, and stay consistent with professional cleanings and exams.

Healthy gums are the foundation of a healthy smile, so don’t wait for them to hurt before giving them the attention they deserve!

A new season felt like the perfect time for a new team photo. 🍂 We’re incredibly proud of the group we have here at Vienna Family Dentistry and everything they bring to the practice each day.

It takes a great team to create a great patient experience, and we’re lucky to have people who genuinely care about their work, their patients, and each other.

For this month's tool highlight, Ella decided to show off one of modern dentistry's saving graces... the IO scanner!

Ella's reason for picking it is simple: "So we don't have to do impressions." Gone are the days of goopy, alginate impressions of your mouth.

IO scanners are quick, even more accurate than impressions, and a lot more comfortable for patients. Just another tool in our toolbelt!
