Healthy gums are a nice pink color and the gum line looks consistent around all your teeth. If your gums are receding, you may begin to notice one or more of the following:
• gums that are pulling away from a tooth
• one or more teeth appear to be longer than others
• swollen gums
• pockets or gaps between teeth
• reddish or bleeding gums when brushing or flossing
• pain, discomfort

She attended Mississippi State University and furthered her education at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she received a bachelor of science in dental hygiene.
