Dear Lakeside Dental Patient,

We are deeply saddened to inform you that Dr. Alan Robinson passed away suddenly this past weekend.

Although we are shaken by our loss, we understand the importance of your dental care and that you will undoubtedly have questions regarding the completion of ongoing care or future appointments.

We are pleased to say that the Lakeside team will carry on and the office will remain in operation. Currently, Dr's, Pearson, Kowynia, and Jerome scheduled appointments should proceed as scheduled.

At this time Dr. Robinson's implant patients can be rescheduled with our other doctors. Please contact the office so we can discuss your needs and what works best for you.

We know that many patients were very fond of Dr. Robinson and that his passion and commitment to providing the best care possible has changed people's lives. He will be missed.

Dr. Robinson along with the rest of the Lakeside team, Dr. Pearson, Dr. Kowynia, and Dr. Jerome traveled to Buffalo, New York for an Advanced Implant Surgery Course. Dr. Robinson was one of the presenting Doctors at the Shatkin F.I.R.S.T. Training Center Seminar.

These courses present the latest surgical techniques and procedures to be taken back and put into practice immediately as well as a great weekend of camaraderie with dental colleagues from across North America.

Dr. Robinson attended the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting.

He attended his first CDSMW as a Senior Dental Student in 1982 and every year since excepting three years. One due to a death in the family, and the last two due to Covid concerns.

The Chicago MW is among the largest Dental Meetings in the World.

Dr. Robinson is pictured with Todd E. Shatkin, DDS (rose jacket), Owner of Shatkin First Laboratory for whom he teaches.
Also pictured is Mark Ahrens, SFL Director of Marketing (blue jacket) and Tom Fitzpatrick, Director of Sales SFL. Next is Stefan Gefter, Director of International Sales, Aseptico, Manufacturer of Surgical Motors and Devices.

Dr. Robinson will be testing and presenting results in an Advanced Surgical Course in Buffalo, NY about a new, just released, device Aseptico is releasing called the Penguin which measures the degree of Implant/Bone stability numerically, which SFL will exclusively distribute.
