Happy early birthday to me! 🥳 Today we upgraded to a Dexis Op 3D CBCT machine! Also upgraded our servers and computers 🖥️. Finishing all the last upgrades to begin placing dental implants next month. 🔩🦷 Love investing into the office and making improvements that allow us to provide the best care for our patients. 🙌👩🏼‍⚕️

Lots to celebrate! 🎉 Yesterday we enjoyed a lovely lunch at for mine and Eva’s birthdays! 🥳 Also Eva, our front office admin, has officially been with us for one year, as well as our amazing assistants, Jenni & Kyara! 🥰 Love my team, and so thankful for each and every one of them! (Sorry Kim not pictured ❤️) Also, we will be taking our annual summer break next week and the office will be closed from June 22-26. We will reopen Monday, June 29! ✨ Smile Emergency? We’ve Got You Covered! ✨

This patient came in with an unexpected dental emergency after losing the crown on her front tooth. We restored her smile with a new post, core build-up, and a custom-stained crown designed to blend beautifully with her natural teeth.

The result? A confident, natural-looking smile and a very happy patient! 😁🦷

Just another reason why your visits with the dentist and dental hygienist are so important! They do so much more than just “clean teeth”. So thankful to have two talented, knowledgeable, dental hygienists at our office who go above and beyond for our patients!

A dental hygienist catches the cancer, the diabetes, and the heart disease years before your doctor ever does. 🦷

Being a private practice owner is pretty awesome… until something breaks. 😅🫠
Owning the practice is one thing. Owning the building too? That’s a whole different level of responsibility.
🔧 Compressor down? Time to grab the tools.
🚰 Plumbing leak? Guess I’m a plumber today.
💻 IT issue? Let me dust off my tech support skills.
📊 Software glitch? I’m on it.
📞 Patient concerns, scheduling hiccups, billing questions? Consider it handled.
Some days I’m a dentist. Other days I’m a mechanic, contractor, IT specialist, customer service representative, and professional problem-solver all rolled into one. 😂
Don’t get me wrong—I absolutely love owning my own practice and caring for my patients. But entrepreneurship definitely teaches you how to wear a lot of hats and adapt on the fly. 🫡

Replacing a single anterior tooth is tough, but it’s even more challenging when the teeth are several different shades. 😅 The patient didn’t like the dark margin, the shape, or the shade of her upper lateral. Thankful for good photography and a great lab to help make this tooth blend in better! 📸🦷🎨
