We’re continuing our new series where we introduce you to the people who make Patterson Family Smiles special.

This week, meet Erin Mixson, one of our phenomenal hygienists 🦷✨

Erin began her dental hygiene career in 2019 after graduating from Central Georgia Technical College in Macon, Georgia. She is passionate about helping patients understand the importance of their dental health and making sure they feel informed and cared for during each visit!

Erin currently lives in Habersham County with her husband, Bradley, and their two daughters, Adalyn and Kori. In their spare time, they enjoy camping and being outdoors.

Every Friday, we’re going to introduce you to the people who make Patterson Family Smiles what it is. From the front desk to the treatment room, our team is what makes your experience special. 🦷

First up is the first smile you see when you walk through our door… Becky Blalock! 👋

Becky is our office manger, and has been a cornerstone of this dental office for the last 30 years. Becky has spent time in every position of the dental office and no one is better at coordinating your care. Whether it is an insurance question, clinical question, or you just have an emergency and need to be squeezed into the schedule today- Becky is your advocate! She helps keep our office running smoothly and will be one of the first friendly faces you see at our practice.

Outside the office, Becky enjoys spending time with her husband, Erik, and her daughter, Kasi Jai.

Meet Dr. Riyaz Jiwani, DMD! 🦷

Dr. Jiwani joined Patterson Family Smiles with six years of private practice experience and a passion for helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for.

After completing his undergraduate studies at Emory University, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Hinman Dental Society.

Outside the office, Dr. Jiwani enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and making memories with his wife and daughter.
