In 1927, Dr. Waldomar O. Roeser opened his dental practice in downtown Pontiac with a simple belief: taking care of your teeth before problems begin is the best kind of dental care.
Nearly 100 years later, that same philosophy continues to guide our practice.
As we look ahead to our 100th anniversary, we’ll be sharing the people, stories, milestones, and memories that have shaped our practice—and the generations of patients who have made it all possible.

Are you passionate about patient care and looking to grow your career in dentistry? We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our team. If you enjoy helping patients achieve healthy smiles, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Prepare treatment rooms for hygiene appointments.
Es**rt patients and review/update medical histories.
Take dental radiographs (as permitted by state regulations).
Assist the hygienist during patient care.
Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards.
Perform room turnover and restock supplies.
Chart treatment, document patient information, and schedule follow-up appointments.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.

Qualifications:

Dental assisting experience preferred (training available for the right candidate).
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset.
Ability to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care.
