Happy Fourth of July from all of us at Hamel Dental!

As we celebrate the holiday and take some time to recharge, our office will be closed from July 4 through July 20. We will reopen on Tuesday, July 21.

A very admired long time patient came in yesterday with a molar crown in hand that had come off while eating Trader Joe’s Salt Water Taffy. After some witty banter about the wisdom of such a snack we were able to re-cement the crown and she was on her way. Today this same, very dear patient brought us 3 bags of said taffy!!! Man is it good. We have to retract all of our previous warnings. Now we know.

The standard of care is a visual and tactical oral cancer exam at the first appointment for a new patient and each 6 month hygiene visit.
