People always ask what I actually do for my own teeth. Here's my real routine:

My daily habits:
• Brush at least twice per day
• Floss multiple times a day when needed
• Carry floss picks everywhere I go
• Manual flossing is non-negotiable
• Pay close attention to my diet

Diet strategy:
• Limit time sipping acidic drinks or foods
• Enjoy them quickly instead of prolonged exposure
• Wait 20 minutes, then brush

Great additions (but don't replace anything):
• Tongue scraper for fresh breath
• Waterpik (especially beneficial for people with bridges and implants)

What I don't do:
• Use mouthwash (only necessary if prescribed by your dentist)
• Rely on shortcuts

The truth? Consistency beats perfection. I'd rather you floss once daily than promise to do it twice and skip it entirely.

Your teeth are with you for life. Treat them like it.
