We shared with Sammi all the amazing things CASA does to support foster children, and she immediately jumped in to help—bringing back so many adorable outfits. We are so grateful for her kindness and heart for these kids!

April is Child Abuse Awareness Month—a time to stand up for the children who need our voices the most. 💙

Right now, so many kids in foster care are facing uncertainty, and something as simple as new, comfortable clothing can make a huge difference in how they feel about themselves and their situation.

That’s why we are supporting CASA and their clothing drive fundraiser for foster children. Every donation helps provide essentials—and a sense of dignity—to kids who deserve to feel safe, seen, and cared for.

❤️Help us change a child’s story!!❤️

Battle Family Dentistry is one of the many sponsors around town that is partnering with CASA of Northeast Oklahoma to help a foster child in need. We are taking donations for children entering the foster care system. These children sometime enter foster care with only the clothes on their back.

We will be taking donations the month of April for the paper doll project. We have sponsored 2 dolls (Miles and Miley) so come in, say hi and drop off a cute new outfit for a child in need. We are accepting sizes newborn to 18 years of age. Let’s work together to help change a foster Childs story!!!

In 2024 CASA of Northeast Oklahoma was able to help make an impact on the lives of 26 foster children in Rogers County, of those children 12 were able to return home safely to their family, 7 were adopted into a forever home, and the rest currently remain living in foster care.

Did you know that cavities are the most common chronic childhood disease, yet the most preventable?!

February is National Children's Dental Health Month!

Here are P-E-A-R-L-S of Wisdom to protect and maintain your child's teeth:

- PROTECT tiny teeth by caring for your mouth when you are pregnant because your child's future oral health starts with you

- ENSURE to wipe your baby's gums after each meal

- AVOID putting babies to bed with a bottle

- REMEMBER to brush your child's teeth twice daily with a pea size amount of toothpaste. For children younger than 2 years old, fluoride is not recommended, you can consult your dentist or doctor for when to start fluoride if you are unsure.

- LIMIT drinks and food with added sugars. Encourage fruits and vegetables over sugary drinks and snacks.

- SCHEDULE your child's first dental visit around the age of 2-3. It is recommended to bring them along to your dental cleanings after their first birthday to help them feel comfortable in the dental office as well as allow us to get a visual on those tiny teeth. This does seem early for some, but 21% of American children between 2-5 years old have cavities.
