More than 15 years ago, I was searching for answers to my own body, trying to understand the persistent pain in my stomach that no quick solution could fix. That journey changed me. It taught me to slow down, to listen, to look beyond symptoms and start asking why.
And that perspective never left.๐ท
Looking back, I truly believe God was guiding me through that season. He created our bodies with intention, and He created this earth with so many of the answers we seek, if we are willing to pause, to observe, and to trust His design.
That understanding shaped not only how I care for myselfโฆ but how I show up as a dentist every single day.๐ฏ
I donโt just see teeth.
I see patterns, habits, lifestyle, stress, breathing, inflammation, gut health, and how everything connects.
Because Iโve been the patient searching for answers, I understand what it feels like to not be fully heardโฆ and how powerful it is when someone finally listens.
So in my practice, I take that extra step.
I ask deeper questions.
I look at the whole picture.
I care beyond the procedure.
Wellness isnโt something I add onโฆ itโs the foundation of how I think, how I converse, how I treat, and how I connect with my patients.
And along this journey, Iโve been blessed to be surrounded by like-minded friends, colleagues, and team members - people who share the same heart, the same intention, and the same desire to care for others in a deeper, more meaningful way.
And today, as I continue to lean into this lifestyle, it doesnโt feel new. It feels like a reaffirmation of a path Iโve been walking for years.
A path that made me not just a better clinicianโฆ
but a more thorough and compassionate one.โจ
