Gum disease can be treated, but the right treatment depends on what your gums need.

Treatment may range from professional cleanings and an improved home care routine for early-stage gum disease, to deeper treatments like scaling and root planing for more advanced periodontal disease.

We also offer PerioProtect, a simple at-home therapy that uses comfortable, custom-fitted trays and PerioGel to deliver medication below the gumline where brushing and flossing can’t reach. The trays are worn in easy 15-minute intervals, and many patients see improvement in as little as two weeks.

The goal is simple: reduce harmful bacteria and inflammation and help you maintain healthier gums.

25 years later, we continue to remember the lives lost on 9/11 and honor the many first responders, healthcare workers, and ordinary people who stepped forward to care for others in a time of unimaginable loss.

We are pleased to announce that Bilal Ahmed, DDS, has joined our practice!

After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2008, Dr. Ahmed has spent the past 18 years providing comprehensive dental care focused on helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. His expertise includes general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry, as well as crowns and bridges, implant dentistry, extractions, and dentures and partials.

Dr. Ahmed enjoys building relationships with patients and making dental visits as comfortable and stress-free as possible. He believes the best dentistry starts with listening, answering questions, and treating every patient like family. Whether he's helping someone out of pain, restoring a smile, or providing preventive care, his goal is always the same: to help patients leave the office feeling healthier and happier than when they arrived.

When he's not in the office, Dr. Ahmed enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, working out, traveling, cheering on his favorite soccer teams, and creating digital content about health, fitness, travel, and lifestyle. He also hosts a podcast where he shares practical ideas to help people live healthier, more balanced lives.

It’s bittersweet to share that Dr. Danielle Whittaker will be leaving Rogers Family Dentistry as she and her husband head to Arizona for an exciting new opportunity!

Dr. Whittaker has been such a wonderful part of the Rogers family, and we are so grateful for the care, kindness, and positivity she has brought to our patients and our team. She will certainly be missed! 🦷💚
