Masks will now be optional. We ask that you make us aware of any problematic symptoms so that we can assist you in rescheduling your dental visit. The CDC continues to recommend that immunocompromised individuals and those at high risk consider wearing a well fitting mask indoors in public places.

The State of Illinois will be following the CDC new guidance for masks. As a healthcare setting, you will still be required to wear a mask when you are here, even if fully vaccinated. We appreciate your cooperation and urge everyone to get the COVID vaccine.

GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AT THIS OFFICE:
To help prevent the transmission of all respiratory infections, including COVID-19, as well as blood-borne infections, we adhere to standardized infection control measures, such as performing hand hygiene and staggering appointments to allow for social distancing. All staff are vaccinated and we urge all of you to get vaccinated as soon as possible. We follow routine cleaning and disinfecting strategies between patients. An EPA-registered, hospital-grade disinfectant is used on surfaces. Instruments and equipment are appropriately sterilized. Contact us if you have questions or concerns.

COVID-19 TESTING UPDATE: Anyone calling to schedule their dental appointment must be tested if you fall into one of the following categories-
1. You have been in direct contact with someone known to have COVID-19.
2. You yourself had COVID-19, tested positive, and quarantined for 14 days but did not retest to demonstrate a negative result.
3. You have experienced COVID-19 symptoms, quarantined, but have not been tested.

If you need to travel to a region with high COVID-19 cases, we ask that you delay scheduling your dental appointment for 14 days or move your appointment back 14 days out of an abundance of caution.

We care very deeply about your safety and ours, and all of our families. We welcome you for your dental care needs with the knowledge that we are doing everything possible to protect your safety here.

We are excited to show you recent changes we have made to the office in order to protect the health and safety of our patients and staff. We have new check-in procedures, removed furniture to encourage social distancing, installed barriers, created sanitation stations, and installed air filtration and UV disinfection units in all operatories and on the office's general HVAC system.
