Please join us in welcoming Dr. Rubie Rakian to Cibolo Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics! 🎉💛
Dr. Rubie Rakian, a proud San Antonio native, earned a BS in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), followed by an MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Miami in Florida. She then returned home to complete both her DDS and PhD at UTSA. After graduation, Dr. Rakian pursued a postdoctoral research fellowship at The Forsyth Institute, a Harvard School of Dental Medicine affiliate in Boston, Massachusetts, before completing specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas while focusing on the oral healthcare of children and patients with special healthcare needs. Dr. Rakian’s academic achievements include numerous honors and awards as well as peer-reviewed publications in scientific journals.

Dr. Rakian considers it a privilege to help children and her approach to patient care is centered on empathy, respect, and building trusting relationships with children and their families. 💛
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Rakian has a deep appreciation for animals and enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, and finding opportunities to connect with nature. 🌿
