Dr. Gedela was born and raised in India. She completed her training in General dentistry in a top school with a full scholarship. After finishing her training in General Dentistry in India, she worked at a private practice for more than 2 years before she migrated to the United States. She completed Post-Doctoral Fellowship program at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OHIO to gain extensive knowledge in comprehensive dentistry emphasizing treatment planning, patient management and hands on experience on restorative dentistry, prosthetic dentistry, endodontic and periodontics in a clinical setting. She participated in various research projects related to craniofacial pain and also had a research article published related to Idiopathic osteosclerosis (IOS) with root resorption.
She completed General Practice Residency program at Meharry Medical college, School of Dentistry, Nashville, TN where she performed wide range of advanced dental procedures in addition to working at Veterans hospital and emergency dentistry on patients of all ages and health conditions including those medically compromised, special needs patients. Afterwards, she worked in Wi******er, Virginia for 3 years treating both adults and kids.
She is member of different associations such as ADA, VDA, AGD and a certified Invisalign provider. Dr. Gedela is very enthusiastic to join the family at Willis and Associates Family. She has a diverse experience and keen outlook in this field to flourish in different environments. Dr. Gedela enjoys painting, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
