ADVANCED FULL-ARCH REHABILITATION | AOX
Following a comprehensive evaluation, it was determined that the patient required an advanced treatment approach. Given the severity of the bone loss in the upper jaw, zygomatic implants were considered as a solution to address his compromised bone anatomy.
The full-arch rehabilitation involved:
• Extraction of all remaining teeth
• Placement of 6 implants in the upper arch and 4 in the lower arch
• Advanced implant techniques to address severe bone loss
• Digital impressions and photogrammetry for precise prosthetic planning
• Delivery of implant-supported provisional restorations
Zygomatic implant placement requires advanced surgical training and specialized expertise. These implants can offer a treatment option for select patients who have been told they lack sufficient bone for conventional upper jaw implants.
Cases involving significant bone loss require careful evaluation, advanced surgical expertise, and a treatment plan tailored to each patient's anatomy.
