Happy Fall! We hope that everyone is staying safe during these interesting times. Out of an abundance of caution, and due to social distancing guidelines, we regret to announce that we will not be having our annual Candy Buy-Back this year. We are hoping that we will be able to carry on with our tradition in 2021. Thank you for your understanding.

Dear Families,

We miss you! On behalf of my entire team here at Cajulis Pediatric Dentistry, I
would like to say thank you for your patience and understanding during our closure
these past 10 weeks.
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. The past several
months have been unlike anything we've ever experienced, and we're working hard
to evolve so we can open our doors again and be accessible for your child's oral
health care needs. We have made some changes to the office with
recommendations coming from local, state and national agencies regarding
COVID19. When you come to visit us, we want to make every effort that your
health, the health of your child, and the health of my staff are not compromised
during your child’s appointment.
Changes to expect:
Our Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will look more layered and shielded.
Magazines, toys, and video games will no longer be available in our waiting room.
Our sanitation and disinfecting protocols will be increased and enhanced in our
dental treatment rooms and offices.
A quick medical screening will be conducted prior to and at the beginning of your
child's appointment.
When we do re-open, more than anything we want you to feel safe and comfortable
when you're visiting with us. Our requests of you include:
Adults to wear masks when entering our office.
Use hand sanitizer at our check-in desk.
Take steps to allow for social distancing of six feet or more
Arrive on time for your child’s appointment. You will have a 10 minute grace
period before the need to reschedule if you happen to arrive late for the
appointment.
Have only one adult per patient(s) to be present at the appointment.
Reschedule if anyone in your home has been sick in the past 2 weeks.

We appreciate your patience and understanding in this process and encourage you
to reach out yo us if you have any questions. Thank you for your continued
support of our small, private practice. We value your trust and strive to continue to
deliver the very best care that you have grown accustomed to over the past 16
years. We look forward to seeing you again. Our soft opening is May 26th.

Dear Patients,

I hope you all are staying well and adjusting to our current global crisis and living situations. I find myself at home missing everything about life pre COVID-19. I know I am not alone.

As an update to the closure of my office and the continuing concern regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, the office will be closed til April 17, 2020, and possibly beyond until we get clearance from the state of California to resume non-emergent dental procedures. My office staff will be contacting you shortly to reschedule your appointment if you have one in the upcoming weeks.

Dear Patients,

We are very grateful for the love and support you have shown our office since we opened our doors in 2004. You have trusted us for many years and we do not take that responsibility lightly. As of today, my office will be closed for a least two weeks until March 27th, 2020.
I am are taking this measure out of an abundance of concern for my patients and employees as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to grow in severity. The safety and security of my patients and staff, and that of the city and world at large supersedes any and all priorities.

In an effort to protect our patients and staff, we request that anyone who has any symptoms of an upper respiratory infection or cold, fever or cough, please call to reschedule your or your child’s upcoming appointment. We also ask that you don’t bring any non-appointed people (friends, playdates, aides and drivers) to the appointment who have similar symptoms. If there are flu-like symptoms going through your family but you and your child are unaffected, please consider rescheduling.

Please remember that routine care can be postponed and there will be no penalties for last minute cancellations for illness.
