Dental CE, continuing education, occlusion, rainy day

Such a tough concept to comprehend, but probably the most important one for not just longevity of our restorations or natural teeth, but our own life depends on it. Fascinating to learn that obstruction of air is linked to autoimmune diseases, neck and back pain, and acid reflux. This course didn’t teach us to diagnose and treat sleep apnea with pep machines, but it did teach us to screen, recognize, create a team of specialist’s to collaborate with, and offer comprehensive dentistry to open up the airways.
