Today, we extracted two teeth with severe bone loss and pre-apical lesions due to periodontal disease. And, what is the PA lesion? A pre-apical lesion is an area of infection or inflammation at the tip of the tooth root.
It means the body is trying to fight bacteria that have spread beyond the root canal.
What causes it?
Untreated decay, deep infection, or advanced gum (periodontal) disease can allow bacteria to reach the root tip, leading to bone loss and infection. So, don’t forget to get your cleaning and dental checkup every 6 months!

Tooth sensitivity can make everyday things like drinking cold water, enjoying ice cream, or even brushing your teeth uncomfortable. Potassium nitrate is a well-established desensitizing agent that helps reduce this discomfort by calming the nerve inside the tooth rather than simply covering the symptoms! 🦷 Potassium Nitrate Desensitizing Therapy.
✔️ To manage dentin hypersensitivity
✔️ After professional whitening to reduce post-treatment sensitivity
✔️ Following periodontal therapy when root surfaces become exposed
✔️ As part of conservative treatment for generalized tooth sensitivity.

Got an early cavity or white spot lesion? You might not need a drill. 🦷✨. We’re excited to offer Curodont Repair. How it works:
🚫 No pain: No needles, no drilling, no numbing.
⏱️ Fast: Takes just 3 to 5 minutes in the chair.
🔬 Smart: Uses a natural peptide scaffold to help your saliva rebuild true tooth structure (hydroxyapatite). DrillFreeDentistry

🦷 What is the oral microbiome?

Your mouth is home to over 700 species of microorganisms—including bacteria, fungi, viruses, and other microbes. Together, they make up your oral microbiome.

Don’t let the word “bacteria” scare you! Most of these microbes are helpful, not harmful. They work together to:
🦷 Protect your teeth from harmful bacteria
🛡️ Support healthy gums
🍽️ Help begin digestion
⚖️ Keep your mouth in a healthy balance

Problems start when this balance is disrupted by factors like poor oral hygiene, frequent sugary snacks, smoking, dry mouth, or certain illnesses. Harmful bacteria can then grow, increasing the risk of cavities, gum disease, and bad breath.

✨ The goal isn’t to kill all bacteria—it’s to maintain a healthy balance.

A healthy mouth is the foundation of a healthy body. Taking care of your oral microbiome is one of the simplest ways to support both your oral and overall health.
