Dental AssistEd’s 8-week online “Become a Dental Assistant” program designed for people with no prior dental experience who want a faster path into healthcare.

Through hands-on instruction and chairside-focused techniques, Dental AssistEd’s EFDA program helps assistants develop the skills and confidence needed to operate at a higher level within the practice.

The program includes a minimum of 16 hours of online didactic study, followed by 4 full days of in-person, hands-on clinical training. Curriculum and instruction follow the guidelines outlined in Section 17.2 of the Illinois Dental Practice Act.

Dental AssistEd is credentialed by the Illinois Board of Higher Education and approved by both the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency. We are also PACE-approved.
