Hagert Family Dentistry has resumed operations!

On May 7, 2020, Governor Hogan lifted the “emergency only” restrictions on dental practices and other health care providers. As a result, Hagert Family Dentistry is now fully operational, providing both emergency and elective dentistry. Please be assured that infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. We will continue to abide by the infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors and friends!

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Hagert Family Dentistry is here to provide emergency dental care, as mandated by Governor Hogan. If you need assistance or you have questions, we are here to help. Please give our office a call. The goal of the dental community is to keep patients with dental emergencies out of the hospitals which will help cut down the spread of the virus. We have attached a link from the American Dental Association to describe what is classified as a dental emergency. Stay well!

Hagert Family Dentistry is excited to announce our first year anniversary! It has been an absolute whirlwind, but we’ve accomplished a great deal on many fronts and we’re very proud of that. We’re so grateful for the support of this amazing community and our wonderful patients, not to mention the hard work, patience and professionalism on the part of an absolutely stellar dental team! Hagert Family Dentistry proudly welcomes Jenna Duley, RDH to the practice! Jenna has been a practicing hygienist for nine years. We and our patients alike are very fortunate to have such a professional and experienced practitioner on the team.

Jenna holds a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene from the University of Maryland. She has a strong background in all facets of dental hygiene care, working at both the pediatric and general practice levels. As a big believer in the mouth-body connection, Jenna supports informed self-care habits and encourages patients to take a proactive role in their dental care and health. She believes in establishing a relationship of trust and confidence with her patients, and strives to create a comfortable, caring environment.

Jenna is a Kent County native. She and her husband, Billy, still live in the county with their son, Liam. She is looking forward to providing dental care in the town she calls home.

With the addition of Jenna to the team, Hagert Family Dentistry now has two very fine assistants — Ann Poltersdorf and Lisa Walls — and two excellent hygienists — Kris Vollmer and Jenna Duley — to better serve the dental needs of the community. A hearty "thank you" to Dr. and Mrs. Pelczar for throwing such a nice "passing of the baton" reception at the Chester River Yacht & Country Club yesterday. It was a pleasure meeting so many of Dr. Pelczar's friends and patients. We even had a ceremonial cake cutting!
