Comprehensive exams at our Chesterfield office go beyond a quick look. We use digital x-rays with AI analysis, intraoral cameras, cavity detection technology, and other advanced imaging tools to get a more complete picture of your oral health.

For patients with existing dental work or more involved treatment needs, 3D cone beam imaging may also be used to help evaluate and plan care with greater precision and detail.

June is National Oral Health Month, and Dr. Silva’s daughter recently stepped into the role of “junior dental assistant” to help demonstrate one of our favorite preventive treatments: dental sealants.

Sealants are a thin protective coating placed on the chewing surfaces of molars to help keep food and bacteria out of the deep grooves where cavities often form. It’s a simple way to help protect growing smiles and prevent cavities before they start.
